The blessing of Abraham?

Image
John 8: 56 - 59 Your ancestor Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day; he saw it and was glad ". Then the Jews said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "very truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am." So, they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple. The Lord said to me, "Don't follow some of your fathers in the faith and try so hard to be a Jew. You are not a Jew; you are a Christian!" Again, The Lord is saying to me, "Stop saying the blessing of Abraham is mine" instead start saying "I receive my portion of the blessing of Jesus, the Last Adam, the root of Abraham". The Last Adam because all the blessings upon the first Adam that was lost to Him when he sinned is given to Jesus, the Last Adam! 1Co_15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. ... 1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a s...

A Prophecy to be Fulfilled!

A Prophecy to be Fulfilled! Matt 5: 17 – 18: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished”. NRSV We understand that right now, we may be faced with so many challenges, and it does seem like there is no hope in sight for some. But the reality is that God had already made ready solutions for us. But the very same challenges that afflict some, keeps those ones from searching for solutions from Jesus to the challenges they face. This is what I mean: When God allowed the people of Israel to be taken captive by Babylon, he set a time limit for their captivity. See: Jeremiah 29: 10 “For thus says the LORD: Only when Babylon’s seventy years are completed will I visit you, and I will bring you back to this place. This meant that the Israelites were supposed to be lawful captiv...

The Order of Things

If ever you have doubted about Jesus’ supremacy over Satan, read the accounts of Jesus’ interactions with Satan in the Bible. Luk 4:1   And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,  Luk 4:2  Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.  Luk 4:3  And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.  Luk 4:4  And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.  Luk 4:5  And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.  Luk 4:6  And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.  Luk 4:7  If thou th...

Tarry for the Light (Part 2)

Image
C ontinuing from Tarry for the light (part one, please read if haven't or refresh if you need to), we just want to embellish a point to make sure the magnitude of importance of tarrying in the night season does not become lost on us. This is also important for us to learn what action(s) that Jesus did when he tarried. Shall we? Joh 11:1   Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.  Joh 11:2   (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)  Joh 11:3   Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.  Joh 11:4   When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.   Note 1 : When Jesus heard the sad news of Lazarus’s sickness he made a pronunciation of victory: He said that this sickn...
