Call Jesus Lord and Do What He Says
The moment we say 'I receive Jesus as my Lord and Saviour' and actually believe what we are saying, we become Christians. To grow as Christians, we must choose to hear what our Lord is saying, and do what He tells us to do. When God tells us to be Perfect before him, we must understand that perfection is not necessarily an end, but a continuous affair. Perfection is us hearing and obeying God in every aspect of our lives. If you have said He is your Lord, then doing what He tells you is not optional. May God help us to always hear Him and obey him completely, in Jesus name, Amen. We must also learn a vital lesson from the story of John the Baptist, a great Prophet whose mission was to prepare the way for Jesus to come.
