Unreasonable Obedience

Many things have been said of Apostle Peter, he seemed to be someone who was easily swayed, however there are instances when you realize that that man's obedience and loyalty to Jesus was unquestionable.  Imagine if you needed money and your pastor told you to go and catch a fish and there you will find money, how would you respond? You would probably say He is unreasonable. But Peter's walk with Jesus was such that he was sure that every word that Jesus said was so sure. Okay, you argue that your Pastor is only human and he is not Jesus, so you cannot have that kind of blind faith in him as Peter had in Jesus. Then, what about the Holy Spirit who is indwelling you? Do you know His voice? Do you recognize Him as God? Do you listen to Him? Do you obey His every command, no matter how unreasonable it is? You are not ordinary anymore in Christ

Its a new year and I celebrate with everyone who is celebrating. But why would anyone not choose to be thankful to be alive? There are a number of reasons, and I won't grant those things even more popularity by mentioning there names, rather I would say this: you are loved beyond measure by our Father in heaven. You must hold on to this truth as it is the light that brings us out of the enemy's darkness. By the enemy's darkness, I refer to the victory Satan had, which is now lost, over man in the beginning of creation and how he got authority over the earthly realm. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. He created many other important elements for the comfort, control and use of his masterpiece, MAN.  Man lost his hold on the earth to Satan as a result of that act of disobedience, you know the story, right?.
