Unreasonable Obedience
Many things have been said of Apostle Peter, he seemed to be someone who was easily swayed, however there are instances when you realize that that man's obedience and loyalty to Jesus was unquestionable. Imagine if you needed money and your pastor told you to go and catch a fish and there you will find money, how would you respond? You would probably say He is unreasonable. But Peter's walk with Jesus was such that he was sure that every word that Jesus said was so sure. Okay, you argue that your Pastor is only human and he is not Jesus, so you cannot have that kind of blind faith in him as Peter had in Jesus. Then, what about the Holy Spirit who is indwelling you? Do you know His voice? Do you recognize Him as God? Do you listen to Him? Do you obey His every command, no matter how unreasonable it is?
