RAISING OUR LAND S2/E4: LABOUR OF LOVE (PART 2)
RAISING
OUR LAND
“Thus says
the LORD, In an acceptable time have I answered you, and in a day of salvation
have I helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the
people, to raise up the land, to
make them inherit the desolate heritage…”(emphasis mine)
Isiah 49 vs 8 (Hebrew Names Version
of The Holy Bible)WELCOME TO THIS EPISODE FOLKS.
PRAYER
I would like a hundred people or more to join me in praying
this prayer, based on the scripture that says “And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall
put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. Lev 26:8”
The enemies we need defeated in our lives presently are: the
veil which may be over our eyes: as it prevents the light of God’s word to
enlighten and be sown in our hearts; and those obstacles that prevent our
hearts from being good soils. Our swords are our words of prayer.
Therefore, the prayer goes thus:
Therefore, the prayer goes thus:
We pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
glory, may give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of
him: that our minds may be opened to see and receive his light, so that we will
know what is the hope to which he has called us.
We also pray that God should by His Holy Spirit prepare our hearts by making it a good soil for the word of God which when planted in our hearts will grow and prosper and yield forth good fruits just as a seed would in good soil.
And that by the Blood of Jesus, we clean every heart from whatever may be present within which would negatively affect the growth and prosperity of the Word of God in our lives in Jesus Name, Amen.
CONFESSION OF FAITH
Blessed are our eyes for they see: and our ears for they hear: and our hearts for they understand and believe unto righteousness. For it is given unto us to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.
EPISODE 4: LABOUR OF LOVE (PART 2)
A
while ago we began discussions on the labour of love, where we saw that a
person who is expectant for the manifestation of certain blessings in their
lives must be working in love. We discussed the stories Job and Mordecai who
both received blessings for their acts of love, concluding that:
A labour of love + Patience + Constantly returning to the presence of God
regardless = Delight by the King (in his own time) + Gathering in of the
harvest
We
also looked at the relationship between the ‘ labour of love’ and the ‘labour to
enter into rest’; we saw how they are interconnected. We also came to the conclusion that because
God dwells in us and We, in God, and because God is Love, we know we are Love:
so we can declare boldly that we are Love and believing this, we receive the
grace to walk in Love. We also admonished ourselves to study more on the
subject of Love, because of its importance to the Kingdom of God
In
fulfilling that admonishment and based on what I have recently
learnt about the subject of love at the International Conference for Pastors,
Ministers, Leaders and Workers hosted by Covenant Christian Center: with
teachings by Bishop Keith A. Butler and Pastor ‘Poju Oyemade; and by the Holy Spirit, I feel led to
discuss an aspect of the labour of love that deals with ‘forgiving’ and
‘judging’ our brethren. Let us begin by looking into God’s word for us through
the Apostle Paul:
2Co 2:5 -11: But if any have caused grief, he hath
not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. Sufficient to
such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. So that
contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such
a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. Wherefore I beseech you that
ye would confirm your love toward him. For to this end also did I write, that I
might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. To whom ye
forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I
forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan
should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
To
get a better picture of what Paul was teaching, let’s look at two other
versions of translation.
2Co 2:5-11(Contemporary English Version): I don't
want to be hard on you. But if one of you has made someone feel bad, I am not
really the one who has been made to feel bad. Some of you are the ones. Most of
you have already pointed out the wrong that person did, and that is punishment
enough for what was done. When people
sin, you should forgive and comfort them, so they won't give up in despair. You
should make them sure of your love for them.
I also wrote because I wanted to test you and find out if you would
follow my instructions. I will forgive anyone you forgive. Yes, for your sake
and with Christ as my witness, I have forgiven whatever needed to be
forgiven. I have done this to keep Satan
from getting the better of us. We all know what goes on in his mind.
2Co 2:5-11(The Message) Now, regarding the one who started all
this--the person in question who caused all this pain--I want you to know that
I am not the one injured in this as much as, with a few exceptions, all of you.
So I don't want to come down too hard. What the majority of you agreed to as
punishment is punishment enough. Now is the time to forgive this man and help
him back on his feet. If all you do is pour on the guilt, you could very well
drown him in it. My counsel now is to pour on the love. The focus of my letter wasn't on punishing
the offender but on getting you to take responsibility for the health of the
church. So if you forgive him, I forgive
him. Don't think I'm carrying around a list of personal grudges. The fact is
that I'm joining in with your forgiveness, as Christ is with us, guiding
us. After all, we don't want to
unwittingly give Satan an opening for yet more mischief--we're not oblivious to
his sly ways!
Wow!
What really is this sly devices of satan. This is like what he did to Eve in
the beginning when he deceived her: “Gen
3:13 And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the
woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and deceived) me, and I
ate.” Same thing he did to Judas Iscariot “Joh 13:2 It was suppertime. The
Devil by now had Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot, firmly in his grip, all set
for the betrayal.” Whenever someone hurts us or causes us pain, let us know
that that satan is always behind it: Eph
6:12 We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and
authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world.
Because of this we are advised to: “Eph
6:11 Put on all the armor that God gives, so you can defend yourself against
the devil's tricks.”
What does the
enemy hope to achieve by tricking us? I believe he wants to take what belongs
to us as he did before when he deceived Eve and caused Adam to sin, losing
therefore, the dominion over the earth that God had given man. It is said of
satan that he is a thief: Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and
to kill, and to destroy…; 1Pe 5:8-9 Keep
a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing
better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only ones
plunged into these hard times. It's the same with Christians all over the
world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. One of the ways he does this is by
afflicting us getting us to become offended. Let’s see what Jesus has to say
about this:
Mat 13:3-9;18-19
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower
went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the
fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had
not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of
earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no
root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up,
and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some
an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him
hear. Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word
of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth
away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the
way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that
heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in
himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth
because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among
the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the
deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he
that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and
understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an
hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
When
God wants to increase us, he does this by sending us his word; this word is the
seed sowed in the ground and the ground is our heart. Now, when he has sown it,
the enemy wants to steal it and take what belongs to us. The parable shows us
three ways by which the enemy takes the increase from us.
The first – the seeds
that fell on the roadside - is that because we do not have understanding of the
word, the enemy takes it from us. We can defend ourselves from this therefore
by humbling ourselves before the Father and asking for understanding of the
word that it may be profitable to us.
The
third – the seeds that fell among thorns - is that we become distracted by
various things, and the word is choked thus becoming unprofitable. This
distraction is something called perversion and Jesus used it once – I think –
when he went to the Mountain to pray with the three disciples-Peter, James and
John; in His absence, the disciples began to argue with themselves as to
who was greater (probably because he took only the three of them) and hence they
lost focus, by doing so, where they previously testified that they had cast out
demons and such, now they could not heal the lunatic boy. And when Jesus came to the scene,
He told them they were faithless and perverse.
To be perverse means to be
turned away. (Read Luke 9: 42-46) Peter was perverse when he was walking on
water and turned away his focus on Jesus, he lost his faith and he began to
sink. This is it that was written in the prophets: “Isa 19:14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof:
and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man
staggereth in his vomit.” A drunken
man cannot keep focus, he staggers. This is what is said of Abraham, that “Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of
God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” To
solve the issue of perverseness we have to keep focus on God. Living a ‘fasted’
life helps in keeping focus that is why the scripture says: this goeth not out but by prayer and
fasting. Jesus admonished them to get their focus back by prayer and
fasting, and then they will have their faith switched on and receive grace to heal
the boy.
The
second – the seed that fell on stony ground – is the major focus of this
session. Let’s take another look at what Jesus had to say about it:
"Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much
earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And
when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they
withered away.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he
that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in
himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth
because of the word, by and by he is offended."
The
first thing we notice is that because there was no deepness of earth and although the seed sprang up, it had no
root; and then the sun that would normally make the seed grow, made it
wither because of its lack of root. So what does this have to do with us? We
already know that the seed is the word of God, and we know that the ground is
our heart (Luke 8:15: But that on the
good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word,
keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.) and it is obvious that while
the seed may just need to be on the earth (our heart) to spring up, it must be planted in the depth of our heart for
it to take root: if it doesn’t take root, it could as well not be planted
because it will die when the sun comes.
So how do we have this depth in our
hearts? The Apostle Paul talked about it this way: “Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell
in your hearts by faith; that ye, being
rooted and grounded in love…”
Being – continuously – rooted in love.
Wait! Do you see what I see?
The only way we can be rooted is if our seed is planted in the depth of our heart, meaning the depth is love; as Paul said being rooted in love.
Being rooted in love = Being
rooted in depth
Therefore
Depth is Love.
Therefore,
again, we can conclude:
Deepness
of earth = Love of Heart or Love in our heart.
since: deepness = love; earth = heart
This
means that a seed planted in our hearts will only take root when love is in our
heart.
BOOM! THAT'S JUST TOO MUCH SAUCE!! GLORY TO GOD!!!
Now,
we know that by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ our hearts have received a
measure of the love of the Father by the Holy Spirit, for: “Rom 5:5 …the love of God is
shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
We
know that the measure of love can be increased: “1Th 3:12 And the Lord make you
to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as
we do toward you:…” Thus, we can
have a depth of love that is beyond human measurement or knowledge, and we get
it by walking in love toward one another and toward all men.
We also know that
the love can be perfected: “1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is
the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” And what is
his word? They are his commandments to us:
“1Jn 5:1-5: Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the
Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also
that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when
we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we
keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is
born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the
world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that
believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”
Now
Jesus’ explanation that a seed dies in a heart without love makes sense, a person
walking in love will not be offended and the one not working in love will be
offended: for when tribulation or
persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
The
way we deal with tribulation and persecution which is one of the devices the enemy
uses against us in getting us to be offended is through forgiveness. When we
are offended and work in un-forgivenes we allow the enemy to steal that which
belongs to us.
For
instance, God has given a business woman His word concerning the growth of her
business. As soon has that woman receives the word with joy, she asks for
and receives understanding. She then plants the word in her heart by speaking. Having
planted, the enemy devices plans to steal the promise from her. For instance; the enemy uses
someone to say hurtful things to her: to persecute or accuse her, she is grieved, but her response to this
is crucial. If she chooses to forgive the guilty party - which is walking in love, then the word takes
root and when the sun comes, instead of the word withering, it begins to grow
until it bears forth fruits. But if she chooses to work in un-forgiveness, the
word doesn’t take root; and the sun comes to destroy it.
By
the way, the sun represents light and energy; and energy. This energy is given to us by the Holy Spirit. Is it not written that in the
beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth and the Earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face
of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Gen
1: 1&2) There was darkness (no energy) until the Holy Spirit (the energizer) moved, and it is only
after this that God began to speak. Just as the green plant needs the energy from the sun for
growth, we also need the Spirit (sun) to give us energy and make that which we have planted with our mouth, which has
taken root in love to grow. Therefore, we are to be filled by the Spirit over and over
again and we do this by:
“Eph 5:18-21: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is
excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.”
So
we do not get drunk with wine leading us to perverseness, rather we are filled
with the Spirit by making melody in our heart to the Lord; for the growth of
the word in our heart. This is that which is written in the Prophets: “Isa 27:2
In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.”
The measure
of the energy we have determines our harvest. 30% energy produces 30% harvest;
100% energy produces 100% harvest…
Back
to our illustration: Now the business woman is walking in love and filled with the Spirit
always, ensuring that the seed that has rooted continues to grow until it bears
fruit. She is not losing her focus by falling victim to perverseness. The woman
begins to experience exponential increase in her business. Grace is now upon
her, and she has the power and the wisdom to see the manifestation of God’s
promises to her.
There
are three ways that man should react to the devices of the enemy to getting us
offended. Only one is completely correct.
1 ) The
man can work in un-forgiveness and take the matter to the Judge. Where, because
he is truly the aggrieved, the judge sentences the guilty to prison. (THIS IS
NOT A LABOUR OF LOVE)
2 ) The
man can forgive, but still takes the matter to the judge to ensure he gets a
prison sentence. He feels the person must pay for the crime. It is his legal
right. (THIS IS A CORRUPTED LABOUR OF LOVE)
3 ) The
man forgives and FORGETS (an act of faith) as His Father in Heaven forgives,
and prays that person repents and receives remission for sins. He should go on
to pray the blessings of God upon that life. This is important because the
person may be under the chastisement of the Father: which is grievous; but
repentance delivers all. He doesn’t lay any charge on that man. And if he sees
that man in need he immediately helps him as best as he can, why won’t he,
hasn’t he already forgiven and forgotten? Wisdom is profitable to direct. (THIS
IS A LABOUR OF LOVE)
And this is wisdom: If for instance a person is in a
physically abusive marriage, it is wise for that person to leave the company of
the abusive spouse, so that the person doesn’t get killed. However, what the aggrieved
spouse does after separation is the key to saving the marriage and even
birthing the promises of God in that family. The response must be in love –
forgiving and forgetting the actions of the spouse. This is an act of faith –
the person has to labour to enter in to rest on the matter. So the aggrieved,
labouring, begins to declare that: “I have forgiven my spouse and I have
forgotten the wrongs just as the Lord has forgiven and forgotten my sins”. As
the person continues to declare, that one also begins to make supplication unto
the repentance of the spouse before the lord. Now, the spouse may show up on
the scene, in remorse, crying and using their tears to wash your feet. Accept the
apology, but do not fully restore the relationship until the person has
REPENTED BEFORE THE LORD. The evidence of this is a change in character. What
do I mean by this ‘repent before the lord’? Let’s look at a few scriptures:
1King 21: 1 – 29: King Ahab lusted for Naboth’s
Vineyard. But Naboth wouldn’t sell. Jezebel advised the King to take Naboth to
the cleaners and he did so with her help, and got Naboth’s Vineyard for his
own. So, God through the Prophet Elijah visited him (most likely because of the
blood of the innocent cries out for judgment, like Abel’s blood) and the
judgment was pronounced. King Ahab’s response was to repent before the Lord: “1Ki 21:29: Seest thou how Ahab humbleth
himself before me? Because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the
evil in his days...” Here we see that humbling oneself is a character
change and a sign of repentance before the Lord. Another scripture:
Luke 19:2 – 10:
“And going in, He passed through Jericho. And behold, there was a man named
Zaccheus, who was a chief tax-collector.
And he was rich. And he sought to
see Jesus, to see who He was. And he could not because of the press,
because he was little in stature. And he
ran in front and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him. For He was to
pass through that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw
him. And He said to him, Zaccheus! Hurry and come down, for today I must stay
at your house. And hurrying he came down, and received Him joyfully. And
seeing, they all murmured, saying, He has gone in to stay with a sinful man. And Zaccheus stood and said to the Lord,
Behold, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor. And in anything I accused
anyone falsely, I restore it fourfold. And Jesus said to him, This day salvation has come to this house,
because he also is a son of Abraham. For
the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Now, the story is really interesting because Zacch
was not just anybody. He was loaded with cash – ill gotten by accusing people
falsely (just like Jezebel set liars to falsely accuse Naboth before the
council to get him killed) – and he was also a government official – a very
powerful man. Now, he wanted to see Jesus; but he was a short man. He showed
his true repentance from his wrongs by climbing a tree to see Jesus. That was a
very humbling thing to do. He had the power to cordon off the road and say no
one will pass through until I have seen Jesus, but instead this powerful, rich,
government official chose to climb a tree! This must have been what Jesus
perceived that in spite of the expected backlash, he said Zacch, I MUST abide
at your house today. And then the expected backlash began, and Zacch did not
hesitate to act his repentance by giving half his goods to the poor and even
returning fourfold of what he stole. How rich was this guy sef? How can you
give half of your goods and still be able to return fourfolds... And Jesus said
Zacch; this day salvation has come to your house.
What we are saying is that: a certain country needs
salvation from rich, powerful corrupt officials – ones, the people do not have
powers to separate from - ; the people pray for the repentance of these officials
and when their repentance is complete, there is a turnaround in their
character. I doubt that Zacch would ever falsely accuse for wealth again. But
we can’t pray with bitterness in our heart, ko le work – it won’t be fruitful.
That’s why Jesus said when you stand praying, forgive.
Let’s look at yet another scripture: Acts 9: This is
the story of how Saul’s life was transformed. You see Saul was a badass, if any
Christian had Saul was coming in their direction they would run. Even after he
had repented, Ananais was still sceptical about going to meet him. Now, Saul
got a visitation from the Lord, and it only took one verse of scripture (Acts 9
vs 5) to change him. Many people today are kicking against the pricks of their
conscience when they do wrong, instead of humbling themselves and repenting,
they will be deceiving themselves by saying there is no sin because of grace
(another topic for another time). Well Paul humbled himself and asked Lord what wilt thou have me to do?
And the Lord sent him to Ananais. But the most interesting thing is that when
Ananais who probably just went out of obedience, saw Saul, he called him
BROTHER Saul. What Ananais saw I don’t know, but it must be something profound
to make Ananais want to identify with him. Saul went onto become the Apostle
Paul. The most profound change in character ever recorded. And if the Lord
could change that badass Saul in one sentence of verse, who can He not change?
So, back to our example: the Lord answers the
prayers, and the spouse repents before the Lord, humbling himself. A change in
character begins to emerge. The formerly aggrieved spouse has gotten the spouse
back and better. Salvation has come to that home. And because the aggrieved persons
dug deep to walk in love; their depth or love increases and there love
increases. What was to be a crisis has turned into a blessing.
So if you have been convicted by this message, as I
also, I am convicted even as I type it, let us humble ourselves before the Lord
in repentance and receive a change in our character. Let us also forgive and
forget; as we pray that those who have hurt us also repent before the Lord, no
longer ignoring the pricks of their conscience, causing a true change in their
character and causing us all to walk uprightly before the Lord: In Jesus name,
Amen.
Is this not that which is written in the book of the
Prophet Ezekiel:
“Eze
36:24-27 For I will take you from among
the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own
land. And I will sprinkle clean waters on you, and you shall be clean. I will
cleanse you from all your filthiness and from your idols. And I will give you a
new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the
stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will
put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall
keep My judgments and do them.”
This is what Paul was talking about when he addressed the Corinthian Church to pour there love on the guilty party. (2Cor 2: 5-11) When we do this, the enemy is unable to gain anything. It is written of satan that he is already judged (John 16: 11). When we judge our brethren, we are placing them in the same place that satan occupies, and he will rob them of all they have got. Everybody, Christian and non-Christian have the potential to serve God and thus the Church can benefit of their grace.
Counsel to
the aggrieved party:
Mar 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye
have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive
you your trespasses.
Rom 12:20
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink:
for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
This
is Matthew Henry’s commentary on the subject of Romans 12: 20:
“In deed (Rom_12:20): “If thine enemy hunger, as
thou hast ability and opportunity, be ready and forward to show him any
kindness, and do him any office of love for his good; and be never the less
forward for his having been thine enemy, but rather the more, that thous mayest
thereby testify the sincerity of thy forgiveness of him.” It is said of
archbishop Cranmer that the way for a man to make him his friend was to do him
an ill turn. The precept is quoted from Pro_25:21, Pro_25:22; so that, high as
it seems to be, the Old Testament was not a stranger to it. Observe here,
First, What we must do. We must do good to our enemies. “If he hunger, do not
insult over him, and say, Now God is avenging me of him, and pleading my cause;
do not make such a construction of his wants. But feed him.” Then, when he has
need of thy help, and thou hast an opportunity of starving him and trampling
upon him, then feed him (psōmize auton, a
significant word) - “feed him abundantly, nay, feed him carefully and
indulgently:” frustulatim pasce - feed him with small pieces, “feed him, as we
do children and sick people, with much tenderness. Contrive to do it so as to
express thy love. If he thirst, give him drink: potize auton - drink to him, in
token of reconciliation and friendship. So confirm your love to him.” Secondly,
Why we must do this. Because in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his
head. Two senses are given of this, which I think are both to be taken in
disjunctively. Thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head; that is, “Thou shalt
either,” 1. “Melt him into repentance and friendship, and mollify his spirit
towards thee” (alluding to those who melt metals; they not only put fire under
them, but heap fire upon them; thus Saul was melted and conquered with the
kindness of David, 1Sa_24:16; 1Sa_26:21) - “thou wilt win a friend by it, and
if thy kindness have not that effect then,” 2. “It will aggravate his
condemnation, and make his malice against thee the more inexcusable. Thou wilt
hereby hasten upon him the tokens of God's wrath and vengeance.” Not that this
must be our intention in showing him kindness, but, for our encouragement, such
will be the effect. To this purpose is the exhortation in the last verse, which
suggests a paradox not easily understood by the world, that in all matters of
strife and contention those that revenge are the conquered, and those that
forgive are the conquerors. (1.) “Be not overcome of evil. Let not the evil of
any provocation that is given you have such a power over you, or make such an
impression upon you, as to dispossess you of yourselves, to disturb your peace,
to destroy your love, to ruffle and discompose your spirits, to transport you
to any indecencies, or to bring you to study or attempt any revenge.” He that
cannot quietly bear an injury is perfectly conquered by it.

Also,
when you are the guilty party do this: “Mat
5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly,
whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver
thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast
into prison.” You never can tell, the person may choose to use his legal
rights to sue you, and then you find yourself judged and in deep shit. If you
miss this window, and you are judged, repent and receive remission of your sin,
the probability that you will leave without injury from the hand of satan is
very slim. Pray for mercy and Pray for restoration.
A
WORD OF PROPHECY
Because
He tried to deceive the House of the Lord,
Trying to break
it apart, using the principle of ‘divide and conquer’, that Satan is judged
again.
Not
only has he received ZERO for all his troubles; but the judgment is that he has
lost 200% of that which he calls his own.
For
have I not said and is it not written that I will give you double for your
trouble? In increasing will I increase you and in multiplying will I multiply
you. I will defend my house with my cherubims and a flaming sword.
So
let us begin to call in our bounty.
We
are winners and we are gathering in the spoils to the glory of God, by the
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Isa.
61:7;Gen 3:24
Thank you for reading.
O reader, you may notice that in 1Jn 5:1: "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the
Christ is born of God" it
proves that only one that believes in the Son of God. And he who dwells in God,
dwells in His love. We have seen how important the labour of love is to
our eternal life and to receiving the manifestation of God's promises, I therefore enjoin you now that if you have not given your
life to Christ Jesus, you do so immediately by believing and praying the words
below.
“I believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God is the
Lamb of God who has taken away my sins by shedding his blood, and dying on the
cross, I believe that God raised Him on the third day and He has ascended into
heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father. I am now born again.”
Congratulations. You are now Born Again. Do join a
Bible believing Church for you to continue to grow in Christ. Pray that God
guides you to the church that will be best for your spiritual growth. This is
very important!
I pray that God’s grace continuously keeps us as we
enter into His rest on the matter of our labour of love in Jesus Name. Amen.
